Disinfection process in detail

 

By default, e-nil! Virus Cleaner does all the work automatically. When you start it and press the “Start scanning” button, the following will be done:

  1. The operating system memory will be scanned, and if any known worm / virus are found, the worm / Virus process is terminated - thus avoiding further spreading.

  2. The “startup items” (such as the system registry, Startup Folder(s), etc.) will be scanned.

  3. Your local hard disks will be scanned. Identified Infected files, will be removed or fixed (as needed).

  4. Additional working / temporary files created by the identified worms will be removed.

 Important notes

  • To find and remove this virus from your computer, all you have to do is press “Start Scanning”. You can interrupt the scan at any time by Clicking “Stop” button.

  • If you are using any resident antivirus protection, it necessary to stop it for the runtime of this tool. Additionally, it is recommended to turn off the automated System Recovery (Windows Me/XP)… This tool should be run in Windows Safe Mode.

  • It is recommended not start any applications during this scanning – it may result in your system getting infected again.

  • This program is just a remover for a limited number of viruses. For regular protection, use a full-featured antivirus. Be sure you also update your Windows system; otherwise the worm can come back very quickly!
